The main aim of this research is to investigate the elements and dimensions of organizational culture in Ferdowsi university of Mashhad. Hence, Denison model has been applied as a new model in this area. This model has four main elements comprise of involvement, consistency, adoptability and mission. The required data have been collected by questionnaire in survey method, among academic staff within the Ferdowsi university. The content validity of the questionnaire was logically confirmed, and for estimating the reliability, Cronbach's coefficient was 90 percent. Using Cochran method for sampeling, 101 academic staff were selected. The results of research indicate that adoptability has highest and involvement the lowest score. In addition among all 12 cultural elements, creating change and vision are in high level. Some elements like team orientation and coordination need to be improved within the considered university. Moreover, result of factor analysis shows that the vision has the highest effect on organizational culture.
