This research deals with the place of information resources in the process of learning among Ferdowsi University students. The sample consisted of 366 students from 8 faculties. They were selected by the systematic method of sampling and have answered seven main questions and SO sub-questions. The analysis of data was done by descriptive and infrential statistics. The result showed that those students who entered the university in 1372 and 1373 in siences and humanities branches have similar views upon three items of questionaire which are discussed in this article. According to the data, for students of social sciences the possibility of social promotion and for the students of humanities the possibility of personal development and for the students of sciences the possibility of studying at hagher level are the most important aims of coming to the university. The majority of students have gain less than what they expected from studying in university. To the students the most important factors to be changed for achieving better education are the faculty members.
