Some women have multiple roles in family, occupation and society. This research is conducted to investigate the effects of multiple roles on the mental health of women. A sample of 234 female teachers participated in the study. The hypotheses were: (1) Stress of women with more multiple roles is significantly higher than women with less multiple roles. (2) Stress of women with more satisfaction from their multiple roles is significantly higher than women with less satisfaction. (3) Self-esteem of women with more multiple roles is higher than women with less multiple roles, and (4) self-esteem of women with more satisfaction from their multiple roles is higher than women with less satisfaction. T-test showed no significant difference between groups of the first and the second hypotheses, and a significant difference between groups of hypotheses three and four.
