In this research, historical background of hierarchical view of Neo-Platonic, and Plotinus in particular, is taken into account and its influence on Sadar's philosophy is analyzed. The hierarchical view has impacts on both ontology and epistemology. Thus, the implications of the hierarchical view can be sought in educational aims and principles. The hierarchical degrees form sense to imagination and intellect and finally The One draw our attention in educational aims to the point that sensual and imaginative activities should be promoted to the abstract rational level and even higher than that to a mystical relation to God The One. The implication of this view would be a hierarchical ordering of subject matters which would be challenged by parallelism in curriculum. This research suggests a middle way between the hierarchical and parallel views which can be termed as diachronic parallelism. According to this suggestion, subject matters will have a parallel relationship but not concomitantly.
