The research examined the relationships among self - efficacy beliefs, locus of control and academic performance. The subjects of this research were 359 undergraduate students of Tabriz, with stratified random sampling, have been chosen at the University of Tabriz. Questionnaires have been used: 1 -Shears et al's General Self- Efficacy Questionnaire, 2-Russell Causal Demensions Assessment Scale Questionnaire (Locus of Control Demension).t-test and Pearson correlation have been employed for analysis of the results. The results of the research show that: there is a meaningful and positive relation between self-efficacy beliefs and academic performance; there is a meaningful relationship between locus of control in success setting and academic performance and there is a meaningful relationship between self-efficacy and locus of control in success setting. Also there was not a significant defference between lo cus of control and self - efficacy belifes of male and female students.
