Abstract

Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to examine the curriculum changes in the age of artificial intelligence. We used the metaphor of Curriculum Evolution to describe these changes. Standing out the border between philosophy and science, artificial intelligence shows us the perspectives of the vast changes in different areas of our life. By expanding the artificial intelligence, one of the most important concerns of education is to face artificial intelligence, while the basic principles of education maintain. A turning point for the curriculum is to leave the commitment to the fixed paradigms behind and to pay attention to the surrounding conditions and situations against inadequacy and incompetence of artificial intelligence to take over the educational affairs completely.
In this paper, with a philosophical approach and a chain of arguments, the evolution of curriculum and curriculum elements are examined. As a result, Curriculum Evolution has been suggested as a dynamic mechanism for surviving in the age of artificial intelligence. Also, we explain the properties of the evolutionary curriculum such as, attention to educational experiences, integrated agencies, multiple monitoring, transdisciplinary, autopoietic and self-regulating based on the basic principles of artificial intelligence like data-driven, analysis, network, machine learning, genetic algorithms, autonomy, fuzzy logic and graph.
