This paper addresses the relations between the universities and industry by considering the theories related to Higher Education such as Relationship Marketing, Resource dependence, Professionalism and Intellectual Capital Construct. It discusses the mutual interests of this relation, and the related problems.
The paper seeks to present a proper dialogue in developing this relation, and discussing the importance of joint research programs. The way to construct deep relations is highlighted in the paper through discussion of the need for joint training programs in which short and applied ones are emphasized.
Due to the need for a comprehensive study, the importance of a strategic management approach is discussed in order to pave the way for a long- term plane
