Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, attribution styles, self- efficacy and life satisfaction among working women in Bojnoord. The universe of the study comprised all women within the age range of 30 to 40 years working on a full time basis in government offices in Bojnoord during the 1385, out of which a sample of 120 women were selected through a random stratified sampling procedure. Data was collected using the Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, Self- efficacy Questionnaire, Attribution Style Questionnaire, and Life Satisfaction Questionnaire. Results showed that: a) emotional intelligence and self- efficacy were positively correlated with life satisfaction and no significant correlation was found between attribution styles and life satisfaction. b) The results of regression analysis showed that life satisfaction could be predicted by self- efficacy.
