A study of the relationship between the self- leadership behavioral- focused strategies and creativity among the faculty members of Iran University of Science and Technology.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to study the relations between the self- leadership behavioral- focused strategies and creativity among the faculty members of Iran University of Science and Technology. The population consisted of all faculty members of Iran University of Science and Technology in the academic year of 2008- 2009 of whom 113 subjects were selected by proportional stratified sampling. Data were collected using revised self- leadership questionnaire and Rand sip’s creativity questionnaire. Pearson correlation, regression analysis and analysis of multiple variances were used to analysis of data.
The results showed that there was significant correlation between self- leadership behavioral- focused strategies and creativity and there was no significant difference between grade averages of self-leadership behavioral strategies based on college, tenure and academic ranking and also there was no significant difference between grade averages of creativity based on college and academic ranking however significant differences was seen with view to tenure.
