Describes the history of attention to bright students in Iran and in the world, policies and practices relating to bright students. Reports the results of field study about the views and expectation of bright university students. Also, explains geographical focus point (Tehran) in payiny attention to bright students. The relation between the parents' education and the identification of brighthness, few women are identified as bright, focus on disciplines with more income, negative attitude toward educational system and adminestration.
